Moving a partition onto a new hard drive?

You can use Clonezilla and create a clone of the entire hard drive. You will need an external drive that is at least as large as your current hard drive. If you want to only clone one partition and move it to another drive, Clonezilla can do that as well, however your boot setup is not going to be correct any longer. But you can fix it if you know how to use DiskPart or if your BIOS has the option to press a certain key at startup to select boot device, and then allows you to specify which hard drive to boot from.
