Programs like aero for windows 7 starter?

i tried the true transparency and the top bar would always disappear and the only way im able to close the window is atl+f4.. i tried the aero enabler along with all the other known registry hacks and nothing ever happens.. if you know any any other programs that work like that it will be greatly appreciated
