Connecting Hdmi Cable from Pc To TV?

I just brought a new cord because my previous hdmi broke. It worked before but not when I plug it on, a blue screen on the tv only shows up. I tried putting all my input to pc but still the screen is blue. I also tried to change the screen resolution, restarting pressing fn f4, f5, f7, ect. But still the screen is blue. Can someone help me?
