Is this a good gaming rig?

That should scream for most games. One thing you might want to consider though...you're buying a very large hard drive with not very good performance. You might want to go with a 1TB or 1.5TB drive at 7200rpm, or if you want a lot of storage room, get a high-performance 500GB drive as your main system drive and keep the 2TB drive for movies, backups, etc. That drive seems like a likely bottleneck to me.
