I'd suggest another one of Ken Kesey's books. Sometimes a Great Notion. Really the better of his two major books. Cuckoos Nest is better known because Jack Nicholson starred in the movie adaptation. the easy way to find what clubs you like is to go to a pro shop and try the different clubs that they have to try. As far as recommendations, I use Callaway driver and Woods , my irons are Tommy Armour. I have Graphite shafts and Senior flex, so you can get all kinds of opions but yours is the only one that counts ! So do yourself a favor and go try the clubs yourself ! Good luck !

Best wide angle zoom lens for my nikon d7k?

Ok I need a good wide angle zoom lens for when i shoot landscapes. I can't decide if i want to get the Sigma 10-20mm f4-5.6 or the tokina 11-16mm f2.8. I would rather spend the around 480$ and get the sigma instead of spending 660$+ on the tokina but i hear bad things about the QC at sigma. I hear that some of the sigma 10-20mm are very sharp but some are soft and dull. Basically what im asking is it worth that extra money to get the tokina?

Some cameras are like that. My daughter has a Nikon compact that allows only two apertures. Look at the handbook and check. If so, either live with it or get a DSLR which will give you much more control. Actually two apertures may be all you need for control.

When a zoom telephoto lens says "macro" it means the lens can focus closer than a normal zoom lens. However, it cannot focus as close as a true macro/micro lens. A true macro/micro can focus as close as 1:1. The zoom lens photos will look fine, it's just that you won't be able to focus close enough to see an ant's face. Since you will be using the zoom for bird & wildlife photos, you won't need a macro because you will be focusing on objects several feet away.

When your lens focuses on a subject, the rule of thumb is that there is an area 1/3 in front of the focus point and 2/3 behind the focus point that is also in focus. The old film lenses would show you that distant in feet on the barrel of the lens (today's auto focus lenses do not unfortunately). As you open up the lens (moving from say f/11 to f/4) the area in focus in front of and behind the subject gets smaller. Now as far as your question goes, if the subject is fairly close to the lens the effect of blurred background will be more noticeable as you open the lens. However as the subject moves farther and farther away, the 2/3 behind in focus gradually drifts towards infinity so no matter what f/stop you choose, the background will stay in focus if the subject is also in focus.

Out of the one's on your list, I would say the best for you would be the Wilson K Factor KBlade Team (They actually have a new version of the racket called the BLX Blade Team) or the Head MicroGEL Radical Midplus (They have Youtek now, but the older one's are probably cheaper and not very different). I really enjoyed hitting with the KBlade Team when I demoed it; the racket has good power and consistency without feeling too much like a player's racket like the KBlade 98 does. The Head Radical is a solid racket, but I use the Head Prestige Midplus which I believe to be much better, but I've been playing for many years and the prestige is a more advanced racket. At your level, I would also try out the Babolat Aero Pro Drive or the Babolat Pure Drive. Okay, what is this bug that i found?

Very forgetful off antidepressants?

Ever since I stopped antidepressants a few months ago, I have been getting more and more forgetful about things. I forget where I'm going when I'm driving, I forget if I have money and how much, I forget to eat, and I work at a stable part time, and yesterday I forgot to turn off the hose and made a small Nile river in the barn area, I forget to turn off lights, close gates, etc which gets me in trouble too. I forget to FOCUS. I drift off into lala land ALL the time, and forget what I'm doing, why I went into a room, etc. It's so bad that when I am switching radio stations, I switch usually only once before I go into lala land and then wonder why I'm annoyed at what I'm listening to. This daydreaming this really frustrating and the forgetfulness is getting to the point where people are getting annoyed with me it feels like. I mean, I was on antidepressants for ten years. Is this some sort of brain damage caused by them? Do I have ADD and not realize it? Did the antidepressants cover that up? I didn't have ADD as a teenager. Anyways, I am also dealing with a lot of things like learning who I am off of the medicine. I was in therapy for 6 years while on the med learning to overcome social anxiety and now that I'm off the medicine I feel like I have to relearn all my therapy because things are new again. I have been trying to ward off depression by taking 5htp and st. johns wort. It works some. I have also been using my therapy skills. I cry sometimes at night, though not every night. My anxiety is worse in situations I would have remained calm in if I was on medicine. Like, this morning when I was at my boyfriend's house getting ready for work and realized I forgot my pants. I live 45 mins away so I got realllyyy upset. I got mad at my bf (I don't know why) and myself and stopped talking. He said it would be best if I just laughed the situation off, called work and told them I would be late, and went home to get pants. But I just shut down and when he walked me out to the car, I was still acting mad and I apologized, bust into tears and cried all the way home, where I called work, told them I was sick and can't come in. I mean Jeez, where IS my head? Then I slept until 3 pm bc I'm so emotionally exhausted and I couldn't think anymore. I am not getting back on antidepressants unless God holds a sign in front of me that clearly says: FAIL. I want to try to live off of medicine bc it made me someone I was not, I didn't care about anything, and had all sorts of crappy side effects even on a low dose. Someone help me with my questions, please? I don't have money to go to my therapist and I miss her. I've been very tearful lately, which I read sometimes happens when you are learning to live off antidepressants. I feel like everything is building up and I need to talk, but I can't. I just know the next time I actually can afford to go to therapy, I won't know how to consolidate everything into only an hour, and I'll probably just cry and won't even know where to start. Laptop keys messed up?

I tried cleaning my Macbook laptop today, and like the idiot I am, I started taking off the keys like they reccommended. Serve Pro Wants to do more work than necessary to home...?

Our home was hit by a tree when a F4 tornado went through a few days ago. Our insurance sent out serve pro guys first to access water damage. We do know the whole roof needs to be replaced cause its missing shingles and it is now leaking in lots of places and soft But barely any water has got in our home.. Serve Pro guy determines we need to replace some walls and flooring. That's seems a bit much to us as the walls and floors looks fine to us. Our insurance WILL pay and we do get new flooring, walls and paint which is good. But do we have anything to lose by giving the ok on these extensive "repairs" even though we don't feel the need really.

Windows 7 wont bootup. Safe mode and "repair your computer" won't bootup either. HELP!!!?

A while ago I was watching youtube when my computer froze. I tried the standard things: hit the windows button, Ctrl Alt Delete, Alt f4. Nothing worked and it was still frozen, with the exception of my mouse, that could move, but nothing would happen when I clicked it. Seeing no other option I turned my computer off hitting the power button and proceeded to restart it. It went smoothly it seemed, it got to the prompt that said "windows did not shut down properly" screen and I chose "Start Windows Normally" I went to the windows loading screen and went black for about 5 min, till I restarted it again. This time I got the "Windows failed to start" screen, where I chose the option "repair my computer." It appeared to load the files successfully, and got to the blue windows repair screen, though no command prompts apeared. my mouse showed up, but nothing came up that I could click. I left it like for about 10 min seeing if anything would appear, nothing did. I restarted it again and got to the advanced boot menu (F8) and attempted to start my computer in "Safe Mode". It started loading the files but stopped on one file and froze. again i waited 10 for a change before rebooting again. I've tried every option avalible in the Advanced boot menu and nothing fully starts up. I check my computer for viruses and spyware, daily so I don't believe its a virus. I don't have my entire hard drive backed up (though i do have most ecential files on an external) so I would REALLY not like to have to reinstall,(I don't have the reinstall disk anyway). Is there anything I can do to get my system to work? or am I Doomed to reinstall =[

Im over a fever but.... HELP! :O?

Okay, so right now im over a fever, i dont know, it wasnt really a high fever, just up to 39C . I dont have a fever today, no more, i guess cause i have been drinking so much water. Mac screen capture not working?

A cople of minutes ago, I took a screen capture on my mac using command+shift+F4. It worked fine. However, I needed to take another screen capture, but when I pressed command+shift+F4, it didn't do anything. I tried pressing command+shift+F3 (whole screen capture), and instead of taking a picture, all my programs flew to the side of the screen. Have I done anything? How can I mount a 5 foot Wilson "Silver Load" FGT CB Antenna? All the hood mounts I've found say they're recommend for antennas up to 4 feet. So where can I get something that can handle a 5 foot antenna? My laptop won't connect to my tv?

You can use Clonezilla and create a clone of the entire hard drive. You will need an external drive that is at least as large as your current hard drive. If you want to only clone one partition and move it to another drive, Clonezilla can do that as well, however your boot setup is not going to be correct any longer. But you can fix it if you know how to use DiskPart or if your BIOS has the option to press a certain key at startup to select boot device, and then allows you to specify which hard drive to boot from.

I dont know all the science behind it, but this seems pretty damn straight forward. I have a giant hgtv. I dont have a vga input on the tv. But my laptop has a VGA port. I bought a chord that has one end being a VGA hook-up for my laptop, the other three prongs, colored Red Blue and Green. I connected the vga to my laptop and the prongs to the tv, and the tv is on the correct component. Here's what pisses me off. The image shows up on the tv, but only in black and white. Whats stopping windows booting?

ahh basically im fixing a pc for a freind and have gone round and round to the point where my heads spinning! he had some malware a year ago that said "if you dont pay $79 we wont remove the virus and your pc will die" next thing he knows windows wont boot, that was that and he just left it off until now. iv had the hdd out, done all the checks, removed malware, checked file system etc but as soon as you go and put the hdd back in his pc it just goes to "start windows normaly or in safe mode etc" then the pc just restarts and its one big loop. iv done a start up disk and downloaded the 5 bios versions (files contain "flash864" "7vkmls.f4" not sure which to use but tried all) from gigabyte and awdfl882.exe to run each one but each time i try it says it says board number doesnt match?? allso iv tried to do a fresh install on a fresh hdd which fails each time leading me to beleive its bios? or motherboard just happend to go at the same time? any ideas or help would be great thanks

Pretty simple, if you are just getting a camera to take candid photos with and random things mostly just for fun then the 18-200 is a good idea. One lens for everything. But if you are really into photography the 17-40 f/4 is a much higher guild quality, and will be much sharper with better color. Most serious photographers will switch around a lot before they find their "lens" that works best for them all the time. Mine is a 35 f/1.4. I dont at all miss not having a zoom at all. Of course If I am working then I also have a 70-200 f/2.8 but otherwise its just the 35.

Neither of those lenses are macro lenses. They have a "macro" feature stamped on them as a marketing ploy. It just means that they focus a little closer than other lenses in their class. A true macro lens is defined as one where the subject and it's image on the film/sensor are the same size. To get that, you need to be within centimeters of your subject. Your lenses will not come close to that. Since it sounds like you really want a telephoto, don't be dissuaded by the lenses being labeled "macro". The 300mm end will be useful for wild life photos. However, you still might find that you must use some guile to get closer to your subjects.

When you're on a gymnastics team, do you have to do every event?

I've been doing gymnastics for a year, and I've mostly focused on the floor, and taught myself a lot on the trampoline. I was thinking of joining the gymnastics team rather than just take lessons. I'm building a game using the tutorial on cprogramming.com. It shows you how to build a three in a row or more same game. I got to the third page and it asks me to open the properties window. I open it and it's devoid of anything. When I press the F4 button or alt-enter I just get this message, "There are no property pages for the selection." Out of the one's on your list, I would say the best for you would be the Wilson K Factor KBlade Team (They actually have a new version of the racket called the BLX Blade Team) or the Head MicroGEL Radical Midplus (They have Youtek now, but the older one's are probably cheaper and not very different). I really enjoyed hitting with the KBlade Team when I demoed it; the racket has good power and consistency without feeling too much like a player's racket like the KBlade 98 does. The Head Radical is a solid racket, but I use the Head Prestige Midplus which I believe to be much better, but I've been playing for many years and the prestige is a more advanced racket. At your level, I would also try out the Babolat Aero Pro Drive or the Babolat Pure Drive. I was never into these rackets, but a giant majority of people love them and experience great success using them. However, based purely on your list, I would try demoing the KBlade Team first! I don't have any familiarity with G.Skill RAM sticks. That's the only thing in that list that looks funny to me. Personally I've always used PNY, Crucial and Kingston memory and have always had excellent results with all three of those brands. If they could get rid of the mystery RAM and replace it with sticks from one of my three trusted manufacturers then I'd tell you to go for it.

I'm going to be a Junior in high school this coming fall and my goal by the end of this summer is to have a list of my top ten college choices so I'd know what their requirements and such are so I know what I need to do. I have bunch of colleges in mind and I am a bit overwhelmed, but I think I'm doing pretty well on my research so far. I also have eczema (a very common skin condition) which gets worse in the summer and in warm temperatures. I really do prefer colder climates because of this. It's got nothing to do with your camera. It requires talent and understanding of lightings and perspective. I have a Canon SX 120 IS. A little 10x optical, 40x digital, 10 mp camera. I love it. I am a photographer. I'm always entered in contests. I'm mainly nature photography. Work with different lightings and different angles. That's really the most basic steps. Simply pointing and shooting isn't enough. No setting you have will make a picture beautiful, that's your job.

Broken Screen help..External screen wont work?

I dropped my hpg71 laptop (P 17.3" Pavilion G71-340US Entertainment Laptop PC with Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T6600 & Windows 7 Home Premium) some months ago, and the screen is cracked and when it turns on its obviously broken. the screen is static, lines and ink is all on the screen. Your team is alright. I would make a few changes though. Take out Blissey. I know it has a lot of HP but it needs to go because of its poor speed, attack, and defense. Replace it with a Haxorus / Hydreigon because those are both fast and good. Once you have one of those two in replace Zoroark with Volcarona. Volcarona has awesome Sp.attack and speed which would help your team a lot. I don't really like Arcanine either, but that's just my personal preference. A very underused pokemon is Excadrill. They have good attck and speed as well. I hope this helps!

So i started seeing these bring flashes of light, way quicker than a second, it happened one day. I thought nothing of it, maybe i was trippin. another day it happened two times in a row, i definitely noticed it. I kno when im looking at something then suddenly a completely different image flashes before my eyes. i didnt see a visual picture just bright bright light. So them i started looking it up, i couldn't find anything really on the subject. So if you have some info on it I'd appreciate it On that note has anyone ever just looked at the fabric of space? but to look at thge fabric of space is to look at nothing, its hard to explain, you have to look threw nothing instead of look at nothing. ive also start seeing these tiny white lights today.. i cant see them anywhere else except when i look at the sky in the day time. again its when i try to look at that fabric again. but they are kind a big in size and sorta fly around, i know what floaters are and its not them. floaters are kind a grayish and odd looking all of these lights are the same size and move in the same pattern just in different directions, for a split second then they disappear. but the thing is, they're is never less of them some always show up in different places but the ones i focus on vanish.

When you say F4 are you referring to either the Japanese (Hana Yori Dango) Korean (Boys Before Flowers) or Taiwanese (Meteor Flower) dramas with F4 being the four boys in the cast? If so, the Japanese one is completely finished, as it the Taiwanese but the Korean one I would say has the best possibility of having a sequel if it will.

First, I would upgrade to windows 7 on those specs it would run much better. Second did you try upgrading the video card drivers? It could be somthing running in the background. There's nothing wrong with the power supply. Those are high temperatures. I'd say pretty dangerous. Try upgrading the heatsink and fan with one from newegg. just look at reviews on them.
